A few weeks ago, attorney-at-law Dr. Katharina Wild was interviewed for the Deutschlandfunk radio program "Hintergrund" (Background). The interview focused on the German Federal Bar Association's committee's statement regarding the constitutional complaint against the denial of leave to appeal the Münster Tax Court's ruling. The Münster Tax Court, in turn, had been examining the constitutionality of the current inheritance tax law (ErbStG 2016). The result is a compelling report on the fairness of inheritance tax.
