Best Lawyers x Handelsblatt - Germany's best law firms 2024
The US publisher Best Lawyers and the Handelsblatt newspaper have identified the best law firms in Germany for the first time.
For 15 years, Best Lawyers, in cooperation with Handelsblatt, has been recognizing Germany's best lawyers. This year, for the first time, the top 2% of German law firms were identified. The award is based on surveys of law firms, client feedback, peer reviews, and interviews with executives.
Client feedback is of crucial importance and was evaluated using the following six criteria:
- Expertise in the subject matter
- Responsiveness to client communication
- Understanding of the legal issues
- Cost efficiency
- Professional integrity
- Likelihood of recommending the firm.
In the first edition of Best Law Firms - Germany (2025), we received awards in the areas of tax law (Regional Tier 1 Bavaria), tax law (Regional Tier 1 Bavaria), and white-collar crime (Regional Tier 2 Bavaria).
